Radical independence

In a category built on confusion, trust is the product. RenewalCheck works for one party only — you. We make money from your subscription, and from nothing else.

Our pledge

We are not a reseller, not a Microsoft partner, and not paid by anyone whose products we discuss. No one can buy a better recommendation.

How we make money

Subscriptions — that's it. Free and paid plans, billed to the people who use the tool. Because our only customer is you, our incentive is to help you buy the right amount of Microsoft licensing, not the most.

Resellers, CSPs, and tools with sales incentives make more when you spend more — so they structurally can't make this promise. We can.

What we ask for — and what we don't

You can get a full estimate with no account, no email, and no company name. We never ask who you work for.

  • Anonymous and Free: no account, no email, no company name.
  • Pro: an email only, used for sign-in and billing — still no company name.

We never sell your data or your renewal as a lead, never share your inputs with Microsoft or resellers, and never use them to train AI models. See how we handle your data →

What we will never do

  • Take commissions, referral fees, or kickbacks from Microsoft.
  • Take commissions from resellers or CSP partners — our advice never makes us money when you spend more.
  • Let anyone pay to change a recommendation, a ranking, or a benchmark.
  • Mix sponsored content into advice. If a sponsored link ever appears, it will be clearly labeled, visually separated, and will never influence what we recommend.

How our answers are made

Every substantive answer is grounded in cited, dated sources, with a confidence level — and we say so when something is an estimate rather than a confirmed figure.
