Accessibility
RenewalCheck is committed to making our tools usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time checkbox.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML and label every form control.
- Respect your reduced-motion setting and provide a control to pause moving content (the news ticker).
- Support keyboard navigation, including a “skip to content” link and dismissing dialogs with the Esc key.
- Show a consistent, visible focus ring on every interactive control for keyboard and assistive-technology users (WCAG 2.2 Focus Appearance).
- Avoid drag-only interactions and keep clickable targets large enough to use comfortably (WCAG 2.2 Dragging Movements and Target Size).
- Aim for sufficient color contrast throughout.
Conformance status
RenewalCheck is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA: most of the product meets the standard, but some content may not yet fully conform (see Known limitations). This statement is based on our own assessment using automated testing and manual keyboard and screen-reader review — it is not the result of an independent third-party audit, and we do not yet publish a formal VPAT. We will update this page as we complete further testing.
Known limitations
We test with automated tools and manual review, but some areas may not yet fully meet Level AA. We are actively improving color contrast in a few places, dialog focus management, and screen-reader labeling. If you hit a barrier, please tell us — real-world reports help us prioritize.
